About CMF

The Christ Medicus Foundation (CMF) was founded in 1997 to return Christ’s healing love to the entire health care experience. What began as a pregnancy center has since grown into a movement that aims to provide pro-life health care that embodies the healing love of Jesus Christ for the whole person — spirit, mind and body.

CMF is a founding member of the Catholic Health Care Leadership Alliance (CHCLA), a new umbrella organization for the advancement of a new generation of Christ-centered Catholic health care that treats the entire person out of love for Jesus Christ and neighbor.

How We Carry Out Our Mission

1. Defend life, religious freedom, and conscience rights in health care law and public policy for both patients and medical professionals.

2. Advance the growth of pro-life medical clinics and health care entities nationally.

3. Offer Catholic pro-life health and wellness services through our CURO program for individuals and HOPE program for private employers.
